I can't hand over the numerous readings I have canvassed for any specific timelines on this investment boom.. The boomer birthdates are (1946 - 1964), that gives the retirement years (2008 - 2026), using an avg age of 62.. What I can give you is the results of my research, namely that the generation succeeding the boomers were smaller, hence where does the money come from for their retirement? The govt as well as boomers have had to rely on a fast vehicle and the tech stocks, given their growth rates in an infant industry fill the bill..

As for your 'extended market downtrend', I don't see it.. Every year we correct after making astounding advances, these boomers are right by not showing any fear - they are right, this industry has tremendous upside within their time horizon, IMO..
