By the way, this used to be the Nokia thread - where are your accurate pros and cons with regard to Nokia?

Most days it appears that this thread has been re-titled hare and hounds by the Q advocates. It's obvious that there are many Q hounds targeting - with personal shotguns blasting - at a Tero hare. And the more they're unable to bring him down the more they seem to recruit brethren from the Q thread. And the more personalized the attacks become.

Yes, Tero has shown credibility, but we all, hopefully think for ourselves and use many, many sources beyond Tero for our investment decisions. What I appreciate about Tero is his ability to take what is is actually happening in the marketplace and attempt to extrapolate those facts into a meaningful perspective on the future. I'm sure he'd be the first to admit that he's not infallible, but why try to belabor each extrapolation by saying in retrospect that maybe this factor or that one was given too much weight or that he wasn't quite exact in this or that opinion. Better to just keep moving on and we'll each make our own assessments of his judgment. Furthermore, where else are you going to get a knowledgeable perspective from Europe, and, importantly from the Finnish home of advanced developers and users of mobile networks.

This isn't some kind of end game where if only the Q advocates can silence Tero, they win. Lighten up! The dialogue is fascinating and one of many resources worth following. And I'm sure you Q advocates are getting much smarter from it - why else would you be spending so much time over here?

Margin,
Forgive the interjection into a fiery salvo, but what baffles me is the way he states his thoughts; as if he just walked out of a merketing department meeting at the NOK. Typically, he will say: NOK will do this and that; Such and such is not good for NOK; NOK is planning thus and such etc...

Just so damn annoying. There are billions to be made for NOK in the US CDMA market with an acceptable product line. He knows it, everybody knows it, but somehow this whole thing is no longer a business consideration, but a stupid jihad. Any NOK shareholder can immediately visualize the stock price appreciation (I imagine X2 in 4 - 6 months) when NOK comes around (I hate that word, capitulation)
best
