Polvie, you are great! The images you conjure are far more accurate than anyone could imagine. Your post is exactly how I would have built the porch; In fact, that IS my porch @ home here in Philly, 3 corner columns and all,(minus the fine paint job) that's this summers project. However, My hope is the porch is actually made the way you view it. Nothing pretentious just a good ole' place to come and drink some beers with the dog sleeping under the rocker. I love you man, are you psychic? Tim
