Correct thoughts, Kevin.

I'm not a trader, but a longer term investor. Your comments work for me, but probably not for some others who think shorter term.

EMC and Cisco are two of my larger holdings and all valuation questions aside from the first few months of this year, I'm more focused on these companies for the next few years. To think that their growth will not lead to higher share prices over that time frame pretty much goes against my entire theory of being invested in them. In spite of their recent dips, they are much higher than they were one year ago, two years ago, three years ago, four years ago, five years ago, etc... .

What will they be in one, two, three, four, five and more years from now? EMC and Cisco certainly are two I want to be invested in for those time frames regardless of what the market does in the shorter term.

BB

Dear Kevin: Well, I think all three are great companies, but IF SUNW comes out with their next generation servers on the presently indicated schedule I actually believe SUNW is likely to show the greatest percentage earnings growth over the next couple of years anyhow. I say this because CSCO will continue acquiring technology at relatively high cost with writedowns, and EMC still will be absorbing and remodeling their major acquisition. SUNW has none of that baggage surrounding them. JDN
