How could they possibly know about recent insider trading?

The best they can do is about 3-4 weeks ago.

Maybe the insiders are selling as many shares as before, but the dollar value of those sales has been "plunging" due to the value of those shares..

<i don't see how insider selling can be "plunging" as CNBS reported this morning. surely that was just their usual BS
propaganda..>

Perhaps the signal to this declines end will be the replacement [destruction if you will] of those clowns with a more appropriate group of newscasters.

I disagree the people I know are all selling out as we speak. In OCT 98 that signified a bottom was in. They are strong individual speculators. They have watched their portfolios decline 50-70% and now they are out. If they cant take it anymore I guarentee that most the litlle guys gave up already. These guys play with tens of millions. I am beginning to think we are VERY close to the bottom.

Heinz:

Where do you get intra/day put/call numbers?

VIX still just 32 -- way below the April peak of 40.
