Niceguy <by July 31, AMD could easily be well north of $120, imho!>

I don't lay down too many predictions, but I think $120 is doable by the end of July - probably in fact. Three consecutive quarters of strong growth, more guidance, a split announcement. At that point a 3-for-1 split would have AMD at $40, with an EPS of about $2.50 - annual revs of over 4 billion and a market cap of only 18 billion.

ng,

I just sold the rest of my June calls, and bought some July calls. The premiums are out of this world! I bought some in form of a spread (bought 90, sold 100). We better break 100 this cycle.

I see these positive news in the next month:
- formal launch of Duron (I got an e-mail from Scott of aceshardware.com who says that we will be pleasantly surprised by Duron performance)
- Thunderbird will appear widely from OEMs and DYO in Socket form
- Stock split will be announced
- Quarterly earnings will be announced before the option expiration. I expect another blowout quarter with earnings of $1.90 per share

This should be enough to move the stock to 100 to 110 range.

Joe

No ted, AMD'll not remain at the level of $87 much longer and by July 31, AMD could easily be well north of $120, imho!

niceguy,

I have heard that before....I wonder where.

You say fundamentals have something to do with price. Well the stock market tends to favor those companies with rising earnings. Currently, according to the estimates, AMD is not in that fortuitous position.
