Many thanks for your note.. E and jlallen have both sent me messages.... This is really very very upsetting. Please send an update when you hear something. I will be back in the states next week and I'd like to help in any way that I can. Regards J

Seems as everyone hopes and grasps at straws as to what is causing this illness..... Your comment about the kidney failure and the way they are doing dialiasis...reminded me of a very rare virus my brother had several years ago...and was near death several times...called Guillian-Barre Syndrome. Many of the same symptoms......I wonder if they tested for that.....like I said...it is very rare.. jane

CB, I just stopped in my office to check on Edwarda's condition and want to thank you for posting what you know. This last bit of news regarding her kidneys is very distressing. I have to go back out today, but will return this evening to hopefully better news. I'm visualizing Edwarda sitting up in bed and smiling, recovered....I don't know if does any good at all, but at least it's helping me for the time being. bp
