I believe win 98 will run dual processors. Just not nearly as efficiently as 2k. You could partition your hard drive and keep win 2k and win 98 on same machine. You could then run on win 98 until all your programs update to win 2k compliant.

Now that I said this, I am not the person to to go for the instructions on setting this up. Computer learning thread has helped me quite often and there are some fantastic minds there. I am quite sure they would be more then happy to help you.
