Jacob: I think you'll get filled. We're gonna test the 52 week low--and, when the deal busts and Bernie finds something else to help his inflated ego, the stock'll be a Ebbers limbo for another 2 years. The bloom has been off this rose for 2 years---we've all just been in denial, thinking it couldn't/shouldn't happen.

Jacob,I agree with the statement about the bearish sentiment.
That was the reason,I B today.I was out around 43 1/2 and I'm starting again.
WCOM may go to 33,or not.
Because I can't see any big cap with a good PEG in comparison to WCOM, I am back...
I know the company and I know, what I can expect.
It was the same story during the MCI merger. As someone mentioned, they have a plan A,B,C,D...
Let's face the truth, because many on that tread do not understand the stock market game.
We are missing so called momentum. No matter company, good or bad, momentum is the leading indicator of the price increase or decrease.
Momentum can't be bullish now, when we are facing unknown...
Europe, if they will be very hard on WCOM,they are locking themselves with the further merger in the opposite direction....buying US companies.
Now take Ebbers and all complains, that he is not taking care about the stock price. What he is supposed to do now,to scrap the deal, to make Silicon W. happy?
Take the worst scenario, WCOM has to sell FON internet backbone and a long distance. Depends, how much they will get for it...but that deal is not so bad.
UUNET has already enough of the internet and long distance is not so important.
