I agree that this whole business is complete stupidity on the part of the Clinton Administration and and dirty politics on the part of the EU. By their own rules, they shouldn't even have reviewed this merger. The US is giving away the telecom farm if they let WCOM be swallowed by a European telco, which will probably happen if this merger is not approved in some form. The EU is much more politically corrupt than the US, if that is possible. If our government doesn't understand that, they are being played for fools. Also, I suspect Bernie has probably kicked more than one Democrat fund-raisers puppy in the past few years.

I am bullish on WCOM as a long term play. If it drops further I will add to my holdings.

GBLX and T are also close or at lows so much of the sector is bad.

Q holding up though.
