I notice the PM is still not functioning properly. If you have any angle symbols in the post it won't let you submit a reply to a PM. This is the first time I have had a problem replying to a PM.`

Just in case there's doubt, the PM bug is still present. Inadvertently put angle brackets near the beginning of one this morning and got the error message. After removing the angle brackets at the beginning and leaving angle brackets at the end it went through fine.

Bob the time to EDIT posts now seems to be 14 minutes instead of 15.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a new time limit?

Do you know?

:-)
JD

Bob that 14 vs 15 minutes to EDIT seems to be one of those nasty intermittent bugs. :-(

:-)
JD

EDIT: the last message gave me 14 min and this one gave me 15 minutes. both were quick messages from my side

Here is the deal with Class Actions.
If you purchased your shares during the class period, you are considered a class member. This means that you have two chioces. 1 - do nothing and a court appointed claims manager will notify you in event of settlement; or 2- join with a firm. Either option costs you nothing. You just have more info if you go with a firm. As an attorney in the field, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me at marketview1@aol.com

Bob,

This has probably already been reported, but just in case it has not...

When attempting to delete a symbol from an existing portfolio I get the following error:

Sorry, an internal server error has occurred

On my task bar reports this page is titled 500 Server Error

<on soapbox>

While SI is working much better now than it was a week (relatively speaking), trying to determine the status of a specific bug/problem by having to read hundreds of posts on several different threads is about as inefficient as you can get. I have much more important things to do with my time. And I am sure you do too, rather than responding to multiple members with the same problem over and over again.

There needs to be a single location with a single document listing the bugs/problems reported, their priority level relative to other bugs and the current status. I don't know about SI but this should be standard procedure when it comes to releasing new code for use, whether it be beta or final release.

As a programmer I know there is no such thing as bug/problem free code. And oversights can occur in spite of all the testing done prior to release. Give me enough time and resources and I can find problems in just about any code of significant size. But how an organization handles these problems speaks volumes about the organization itself.

As SI evolves there will be more changes made to the database and the software. In the best interests of both SI and its members, this situation should never be allowed to repeat itself again.

Please pass this on to management.

<soapbox off>

Regards,

Jim

PS - Please accept my thanks for doing a great job over the past week while operating under a less than ideal environment!!!

Being a programmer I can
