I can't help but wonder if Nacchio's aversion to VDSL is at least in part due to Annunziata's previous endorsement of VDSL when GBLX was nearing matrimony with USW. Funny how two guys cut from the same cloth, so to speak, could view the same service so radically differently.

"US West has just begun to roll out asymmetric DSL in several large cities, and it ran early trials of very high bit-rate DSL in Scottsdale, Ariz. Qwest reportedly is looking at the Arizona VDSL service as one of the first to eliminate in a combined company."

lml- Thanks and holy cow! I was looking all over the Qwest website trying to find details on the AZ rollout with no luck. No wonder I couldn't find anything. IMO, if this comes to pass, it's a significant setback for VDSL TV delivery since USWest previously played it up so heavily and so did the press. Wonder what went wrong? -MikeM(From Florida)
