GV, Dell has been discounted for over fifteen months relative to SUNW and other net peers, even while net based sales have soarded 400% per day, revenue has increased nearly 70%. MD stated "Dell is back on track".

If "all" the analysts are expecting a love-in, this would represent a significant shift from the past. Your implication that since "all" expect bobby socks and parties, that "party-time" is priced in could well be wrong based on soured expectations for fifteen months.

Because of past failed expectations, most former Dell money remains sidelined, even as Dell has gone to $52. Any significant improvement from past expectations could yield premium pricing for a change. I doesn't seem reasonable that "significant improvement" would be $.25 given past skeptical expectations that remain priced in.

$.23 would represent a significant shift from the past expectations relative to momentum.

At .24 or .25 you won't get Dell at 60.
.21 is still the whisper no. The reason Dell is moving now is that there is a good possibility for reaching .23, which will guaranty 50% increase in earnings for y2001. If we don't make it sell on news, but not below 50.
