I'd be a Yankees fan

LOL!

As for the NFL, it was considered during the OJ trial to change the venue here to Phoenix to be as far removed from professional football as possible.

This one's for you, Mike. That's why is directed to you.

A Tender Moment

A devoted wife was taking care of her husband, who had been slipping
in and out of a coma for several months. When he came to his senses,
he motioned for her to come near.

"You have been with me through all the bad times," he said.

"When I got fired, you were there to support me.
When my business failed, you were there.
When I got shot, you were by my side.
When we lost the house, you gave me support.
When my health started failing, you were still by my side."

"You know what?" he whispered.

"What dear?" she asked gently.

"I think you bring me bad luck."

Mikey.....

I liked your joke about Yankees fans.

I notice you rib me alot about the Red Sox, and while it is true nearly a whole century has gone by without a World Series championship, I'm sure their luck will change for the better real soon.

Besides, it looks like we'll finally get a new ballpark, putting Fenway to rest. It's time, and the City Council and State legislators actually approved it.

We like to renew things here in Boston, every 100 years or so. We have tradition here in the Northeast. That's different from Cuf and others of his ilk, where the West Coasters think the modern era started in 1980 or so., with Reagan & Montana.
