No, no, you don't understand. Reagan was Good, his hat was white, and his horse would have been white too, had he rode one. His sword was sharp and his lance keen; all those odd statements, questionable stories, and appearances of being elsewhere were but a facade to divert attention from the razor mind and facile wit within. Everything he ever did was right and good, and all the good that has ever happened was a direct consequence of his actions.

Clinton, on the other hand, is Bad; his hat and horse are black; he would twirl his moustache if he had one. Everything he says is a lie, everything he does is wrong, and all that is bad in the world is a consequence of his actions.

The world is really a very simple place. Read enough SI posts and you will understand this.

So he told a bunch of grunting rutting hippies to shut the hell up. Who cares? They were spoiled brats anyway. To a scientific type such as yourself, I'm surprised you're not shocked at the sequence of events up there. Here is a good site to follow the chronology:
kennewick-man.com

Here is an example of the current administration's efforts at stifling study of Kennewick Man. Isn't this the moral equivalent of book burning?

btw, I was not pro-Reagan. I was a Democrat through the 80s but moved right around 1990. I haven't voted for a presidential winner yet. I was eligible in 76 and would have voted for Carter, but I wasn't as civic minded then as I am now.

Speaking of really old guys, I like how the Ice Man from the Italian Alps has caused the history books to be revised. That guy wasn't supposed to have stitched clothing, arrows with feathers, knowledge of medicine, or tattoos. He caused quite a stir.

Holding rioters and vandals accountable has nothing to do with quashing free inquiry........

The "Free Speech Movement" of the early '60s was nothing more than Mario Savio and some other assorted Berkeley radicals demanding the right to say "fuck" in public. Really.

A small step for man, a Giant Leap for Mankind...
