Re: Suppose that with the introduction of Pentium 4 it becomes clear that at and above 1.5 GHz, Rambus provides a real 15% performance boost.... Barry, most applications don't stream data, they burst it. At higher speeds the increased latency of rambus becomes more of a problem, not less. And DDR gives better bandwidth anyway. The relative performance of rambus will probably worsen at higher speeds - but the fact remains that won't really know until we get the actual systems. Dan
