Barry, most applications don't stream data, they burst it. At higher speeds the increased latency of rambus becomes more of a problem, not less. And DDR gives better bandwidth anyway. The relative performance of rambus will probably worsen at higher speeds - but the fact remains that won't really know until we get the actual systems.

I'm aware there are improvements to the ICH in 820E, but haven't heard of any enhancements to the MCH. Do you have any info?
