This would confirm why the Stevens report suggested that Aware would get some of the Alcatel business if they decided to get out of the DSL chipset arena. AMD may have been told by Alcatel to get prepared to take over where the Alcatel chipset division lets off. AMD then calls on Aware for help with their multi-port Central office chipset. Just speculation on my part, but it seems to fit. I know Scrapps, let me have it for throwing out some theories that are not substantiated. I just cannot help it. It has been to slow lately. I need a little excitement:-)
