Carter was an Evangelist and a good guy...but not a pragmatic President, IMHO...

I'll take the Clinton economy over the Carter economy any day. And so, I imagine, will the tens of millions of people who now have jobs when none were available under Carter, Reagan, or Bush.

And my investments have done better these past 7 years, too.

Maybe I'm selfish, but I'd rather have a President who failed in his family life but succeeded in his job than the reverse. Sadly, that seems to have been the choice, lately.
