Carl,

Since it's an industry group promoting DDR, there is plenty of public information about it, complete with worst case data, oscilloscope images and simulation results.

Why do you think they don't know what they're doing?

Are these the same companies that screwed up 100Mhz SDRAM until Intel stepped in to define/refine the standard for PC use?

Carl, <Before the end of the year, DDR DIMM machines are going to be widely available, and your statement about DDR signal integrity issues is going to look silly.>

In the post below, Scumbria is the one is hinting at such signal integrity issues with DDR. He also says you're the one implying that DDR's future lies in soldered-down parts.

I don't deny that DDR will have an impact in the desktop market. You don't have to post a bunch of links to the same web site to "educate" me. But I think you can't deny that the DDR signaling issues aren't a trivial matter, either. (Then again, I'm sure you can easily deny it, considering you're just on this thread to "have fun.")

Which of the many links you posted contains the worst case oscilloscope images and simulation results?
