hi clappy, the record is now tom dempsey AND jason elam's.
if they had just set the ball back a yard it would now be just elam's.

minnesota was my favorite team when a youth (during tarkenton's days.) it seemed like those darn cowboys were always pulling something out of their butt to win in the last 45 seconds of the game. and if it wasn't dallas it was that franko harris. do you remember it like that?

Hi clappy!

Daunte's arm is everything it is billed as. He made some rookie mistakes, but I think he will learn from them and will improve each week.

The one thing I noticed is he needs to learn a little touch. There were a few plays where he hit the receiver with the ball so hard that they could not catch it. This will come with time.

I also liked the Vikes of old. Tarkenton throwing to Rashad and Sammy White or handing off to Chuck Foreman!

The Giants had a great day yesterday. I thought the Eagles would give them a better fight after the way they handled Dallas last week.

How about those Redskins! All that talent and payroll and they lose to Detroit. You are never sure of things in the NFL!
