Anyone notice this morning's Nasdaq futures turned around from minus 11 to plus 22 when it was reported that Rick Sherlund of Goldman Sachs said that after talking to MSFT management, the earnings and revenue estimates are "on track" for the quarter.

Anyone foolish enough to wish MSFT would fall off a cliff still doesn't realize that the entire market may follow them.

the entire 2000 line is squarely focused on the Internet --- Can you name one current piece of OS or application software "squarely focused on the Internet" that's making it's maker software profits? --- You mention "MS Servers" as if they were actually servers and not just a shrinkwrapped box full of empty space and arranged electrons on a 50 cent CD ROM. The MSFT shareprice reflects that the value of MS's 'squarely focused' $oftware core is decreasing (dramatically) daily. -JCJ
