Go ahead and shag us with this garbage, but DON'T tell me it's "not political" afterwards.....

Indeed. If we were not 6 weeks before an election, does anyone honestly think this would've happened? Anyone with half-a-brain should be able to see right through this as proof-positive that Clinton-Gore has no energy policy, nor has any desire to create one. But J6P's ignorance will be confirmed when the polls show Gore's lead jumped after this B.S. SPR release show. You can bet CNN will have Joe and Jan Sixpack on tonight, cooing over Gore, "Gore really seems to care about us. Whenever we get our tit in a ringer, the government always bails us out. And that's the way we like it."

Then again, releasing SPR oil into the market is no different than EasyAl printing more ClownBux each time the stock market looks like it's in danger.

Patron, it is not only political, it is political to the nth degree. This SPR release is designed to do one thing and one thing only - political gain for Clinton2/Gore.

The fact that the release is 30M BBL and is not until November tells me that the release has nothing to do with heating oil. It is about knocking crude prices down ASAP to try and reduce the high gas bills the soccer moms are paying to drive 10/MPG Suburbans and Expeditions. The other benefit is to convince NY voters how much the Clinton2 "care" about about their high heating oil bills and are "trying" to do something about it.

Note the GLARING absence of any such "caring" efforts on the NG front, the South and Midwest primarily using NG for heating not being important for the Clinton2/Gore election efforts.

Thinking ahead now, a couple of questions to ponder this weekend. What will OPEC do now? What about Saddam? How does this figure into the G7 meeting? Does the fact this is being structured as a "loan" of the oil matter (almost like "leasing" gold, huh)?

<<6:15 RELEASE WILL BE A STOCK NOT A SALE; INDUSTRY WILL REPLENISH RESERVE>>

Have a good weekend, Ken
