Big difference between hunting rifles and hand guns. I'm giving this person the benefit of the doubt and assuming the the "headline" referred to the latter.....

Good Idea Ish. Give kids all the guns they want and give them experience and NRA training!! This is ridiculous. I will bet on my life on one thing. A bunch of kids (no matter how much you train them in safety) with gun who go to same school will use guns against each other at some point of time. One emotional outbust is all it takes to pull the trigger. One hormonal bravado. One teasing of an individual. One misunderstanding. One minor conflict. One moment of rage. One idiot. A collective psyche. The last thing in kids hand is a gun.
