Gore is an embellisher. Not a liar. I usually give 25% discount to his claims. However, his remaining 75% is still way ahead of Dubya. Now to win over undecideds, these candidates will have to do something drastically different and bold to win over them without alienating their own base.

Sorry but you are off base on this. "Neocon, don't you realize that your painting Gore as a "liar" comes from the talking points strategy passed down by..." I have viewed Neocon's postings for a couple of years now and I can assure you that he has been raising questions about Gore's credibility long before Bush was in the picture.

Party time, It seems as if GWB is holding his own against an incumbent VP who has served during a time of peace and prosperity. The next President will in all likelihood make some critical lasting decisions for the nation. I think if Bush isn't doing everything he can to win, he's a fool. I wish he'd exploit more of gore's shortcomings as gore has shown he is a buffoon, who the media treats like a genius, even though he has never demonstrated any penchant for that status.knc
