Well I thought that was what I was saying. If everything doesn't need a first cause, then the universe can be eternal, and we don't have to go any further back than that. Or maybe you were agreeing with me.

Are you saying the universe is eternal?
I thought you were the science guy? All the scientific evidence seems to suggest that they universe came into being at a particular point, some time in the past. Call it the big bang if you must, but are you disputing that? If so, do you have any evidence?
