Great link. The article says Signalsoft (SGSF) has a commitment from AT&T as (they have chosen SGSF as their "gateway to location determination technologies"). SGSF will use the PCDS system from CLQ to supply location info (Oct 4 news release from CLQ). This means that CLQ is the solution for AT&T. I am not sure what % of handsets in the U.S. are supported by AT&T. Comments please.

Hi Bafan_57, E.T. et al,

Does anyone have (or will be monitoring) the site (ie FCC) or link with results of:

the Federal Communications
Commission has mandated that all U.S. wireless carriers offer
E911 service, which allows the police to locate cell-phone
callers, by next October. And by Nov. 9 of this year, the carriers
are required to tell the world how they'll achieve E911
capabilities, including which technologies they'll use and which
companies they'll work with.

Thanks.
