nok - not trying to be negative, but my opinion is......more rules?? everyone makes calls on what they see and notice which is a great help as we cannot look at evertything at once, but everyone should do dd before jumping in.

Nok - i like to know who is holding what - part being nosey, part wanting to know those making a call are buying what they are preaching - i think we would end up with a ton more calls if one could call them and not be "responsible" for it - just my opinion - C26

Nok, Just catching up on the thread...

Take it from me <g> If good traders are stifled as to what they can and cannot post on this thread, well they will be gone. And would it be better for some trader on this thread to be long a stock - not knowing everyone and his brother is shorting the hell out of it??? NOT.

Posts like Teri's are not only critical information necessary to trade successfully, but totally appreciated also...

If a trader is shorting a stock someone else is holding as a trade, I think that's a darn good reason to take a close look at what you are holding, as they may know or see something you don't.

I cannot tell you how many times my ass has been saved on BEAS trades by Small Fry posting he's short or has puts...
I consider it a blessing, and one of the reasons I love SI.
And the discussion revolving around it is invaluable.

Very often when long a stock you "love" you become blind to signals staring you in the face. How do I know this?? BEEN THERE : )

Now throw that book of rules in the trash please <g>
