Agreed longs need shorts at times, that is what makes a market.

I agree this should be a no rules no holds barred thread..

one thought though...often I am scared to post about a stock I hold going up dramatically because I am afraid the shorts will jump all over it if they think its getting ahead of itself..

For instance I might be three or four dollars in the money on a RNWK trade and I hate to say..RNWK going through the roof cause I feel like this is announcing to the shorts to pile on....

on the other hand I welcome the shorts piling in before I go long cause often times it's their covering that has caused it to run up to begin with...

I too think we need more short calls I for one desperately need to hone my shorting skills... I told myself that my next trade this week would be a short trade at the beginning of the week after I cashed my longs out...but I chicken out and went long right around that triple top failure yesterday...and am now holding an "investment/?!!! " in TMWD...

We need short and long calls here.... I mainly play long but I welcome the shorts... we are all in this together and I hope everyone continues helping each other and lets all make some bucks here ...

thanks....just my two centavos.....FWIW

rok

agee 100% with your post! ..what rules anyway? ...I totally appreciate Teri's posts too...often so many valuable posts get lost in the shuffle...the one you mentioned re SDLI for instance, deserves an <ALERT> so we can all sit up and pay extra attention...
