OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 2, 2000--AARO Broadband Wireless Communications, Inc. (OTCBB:AARW - news) will launch its high-speed wireless service in Austin, Texas, in conjunction with next week's Austin Information Technology Exposition (ITEC).

AARO will officially launch service with a ribbon cutting and reception at its downtown Austin Offices, 807 Brazos Street, Suite 101. Attending the ribbon cutting will be representatives of the Cisco Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CSCO - news) Wireless Business Unit.

``This marks our first venture outside our Oklahoma home base. With the significant impact technology has made on the economy and infrastructure of Texas' capital city, we believe Austin is a logical next step for AARO,'' said AARO President and CEO Ron Baker.
