Intel surprised quite a few people on the webcast last week by saying that, not only do the expect their GMs to stay in the 63% range, but they could even go higher about Q3 next year. For quite a few CCs in 98 and 99, they said that, long term, they expected GMs to be in the 50% range. That's way long gone history now. Maybe AMD competition is good for Intel's GMs?

The 1.4 and 1.5 GHz Pentium 4's are 2 higher margin products - and one of them apparently has already been "introduced".
