Hi Keith and All; If you are interested in the election, in light of the reported closeness of it, you might be interested in monitoring the Drudge Report during the day tomorrow (Tues)....Drudge is vowing to report exit polling results as the day progresses.....this is data that is available to all the news organizations, but they sit on it until the polls close in that state....

I live in a state in which no one who had ever had any contact in any way with Clinton could get elected to statehouse janitor....so there is no drama at all here...just for the record, I am a dubya man...

Regards, Bud

Since it is the Eave of a major Election, I just had to go "OT" for one more time. Definately Diatribe (you folks taught me the meaning of that word, and now I spells it(ggg).

The internet has given us the front row seat to debate the real issues with our lives, our government, our religion, our families and our peace of mind. You can't do much debating or discussing sitting in front of the TV, but you can here on SI. Are we really utilizing this resource?

Because of my interest I booked Marked most of the political threads on SI for the last week. Thinking I would see the same kind of Bull Dog analysis about our political future that I have seen about investing in companies. I was wrong...

For example I bet I read several hundred posts on the "George W. Bush" thread on weather Hitler was to far to the right or to far to the left. No one on this thread has any question about the truth about Hitler...

At first I thought that someone on the thread would post some fiber about real issues. Just didn't materialize. Why?

Politician's are politician's. Gore & Bush both were raised to be. It is not any different if your dad owned a farm or a hardware store and you ended up making your living by the same. You are a product of your environment and your experiences. But some end up being better farmers and better merchants. The question is who is the better here, or even more do they qualify to be on the roster. This is not for me to say or to judge. What is for me to say, is that you must Vote.

Now what I wanted was some conversation on these political threads not so much about which candidate was a drunk or a pot smoker but more about the Marketing Process for these candidates.

Do you think "Motor Voter Registration" is a good thing? Do you thing all "Living Breathing Americans" should have a right to vote if they have a criminal past? Do you think they should be able to vote if they can't pass a driver's test? Do you think there is any reason why anyone should be restricted from voting, period? Do you think there should be a law that makes Americans of sound mind vote?

I fore one will be very glad when tomorrow is history and I can go back to AIMing and taking care of the shop and taking care of my family. This election stuff just gets me so confused... I just want to feel that I have some say so in my own destiny. Try that shoe on.
