Yeah, I don't think it affects earnings, but it is not a mood pleaser as nobody likes uncertainty. The SDLI spread is a nice barometer of this sentiment, climbing back up to 18%+ now.
But this could be good in that when the uncertainty lifts there could be a nice relief rally.

There is a lot of foreign money in the market. The prospect of a month of legal battles, which the US is well known for, has them worried.
