By this same reasoning I guess Firestone would not have to make their "oversight" right by allowing people to exchange the tires that were bad.

If a new government building was erected and it was then discovered that they forget to include access for the handicapped would they just overlook it if nobody could prove fraud?

If a law concerning an election in Florida has not been complied with therefore the result could be(probably is)wrong should we overlook it?

This election is worse than useless if the American people do not believe the results reflect the intentions of the voters. This is similar to the Adams-Jackson election and that nearly destroyed the country. This one is worse since clearly the intention of the people, under the rules of the electorial college was to elect Albert Gore.
