OT Very Interesting Elections

I am now, very nearly convinced, that these elections have very nearly brought us to the brink of class warfare. One only needs to look at the states where each candidate won, and the county by county results from Florida to see what is happening. Areas that are densely populated tend to vote Democratic. Areas that are more sparely populated tend to vote Republican. There are exceptions to this exceptionally broad generalization to be sure.

This bothers me greatly. Something happened in the presidential campaigns this time that polarized the voters. That polarization needs to be scrambled for the long term health of the nation.

Hi Keith,

Thanks for tipping me off about the Vote Drafters. Actually, come to think of it, we could use some Vote Drafters up here, since we have a Federal election on Nov. 27. I only hope that these Vote Drafters know that now is not the time of year to show up here in shorts and T-shirts :-)

CTXS is a good example. I ran out of cash for buying at around $40. But placed it in her account at around $16 and have had two buys and two sales since, while mine is still waiting for the wind to change directions.

It sounds like your wife's IRA gets the best initial AIM buys; that could partially explain the better performance you mentioned earlier.

How did you set up the AIM basket? Did you set it up as a single account in Newport?

Regards,
Jack

PS Thanks for the compliment.
