I am thinking to myself this litigation process could take a longer term to sort out than the term of office in question. Somehow this has to be settled rapidly and perhaps the only way to do that is let the whole state of Florida vote again.

The real problem here is not whether Bush or Gore won in Florida; it is that the Electoral College is not representative of the people. And thus the US system of voting for the president is flawed. In fact, Mexico has a much better system then does USA. I think the UN should flood into USA and conduct legal voting for all people.
Either that are we create thunderdome:

Anyways, I doubt this market malaise has anything to due with politics, more likely FED. Will the FED raise? Maybe.

<a new election in Palm beach county would not be constitutional.>

That's for the courts to decide at this point.

Gore is ahead in the popular vote by over 200K votes at the moment and the difference in Florida is 329 votes. A hand recount of the votes in question in Palm Beach County could be the difference in who becomes President and is well in Gore's legal right and in keeping with the law in the state of Florida.

This election is not over by a long shot.
