More Gore misinformation and lies.

- Gore won the popular vote so morally he deserves to win
but he won't unless he gets Florida which is so close it's excrutiating.

First, the statement is false. Many votes have yet to be counted. Secondly, morally deserving? hah! We elect by the EC. The premise is balderdash.

Winners don't demand recounts.
Losers always demand recounts.

If Gore winds up winning because of the hand recount in PB county, Bush, now the loser, will go to court and demand a hand recount of the entire state. You can bet the ranch on it. Deadline or no deadline the political pressure for a statewide hand recount will be too great to resist.

Pretty damn smug saying Gore won the popular vote when there are a million or so absentee ballots to be counted in California alone. You win a recount or two and 29 or 30 other states and it seems very normal to be at the very least prepared.

By the US constitution the nation wide popular votes mean nothing in deciding who win the president. Nothing can prevent the loser from enjoying its moral value but he does not DESERVE to win.

The SELECTED recount by hand, required by democrats is unfair, not only because human hand count is subjective and more erroneous, but also because this manual recount is SELECTED in their favor. Statistically and historically, hand count will increase the total effective votes for all candidates and, the candidate who got more votes in the first count will more likely get more recount votes proportional. The 4 counties, selected by democrats are predominately democrats. Gore got more than 60 percent of the votes in those counties, in a manual recounting its almost for sure that Gore will get more votes than Bush will get. I strongly oppose manual recount because of its subjectivity, but if we have to do it the only fair way is do do it for all Florida counties, predominated democrat counties and predominated republican counties.

Let me use a story to illustrate Gore's philosophy to win in Florida. I have a friend, who has high blood pressure which he does not want to admit. He bought a blood pressure gauge to measure his blood pressure. Each time the gauge shows a high blood pressure, which is the right result, he ignores it and conducts a new measuring, until the gauge show him a normal blood pressure. Then he will tell everyone that his blood pressure is normal. Similar as my friend, Gore's philosophy to win in Florida is recounting, recounting and recounting, until the result accidentally and erroneously put him in front of Bush. By fabricating his blood pressure, my friend puts his health at risk, but by fabricating the election result Gore is putting the country, the constitution and the people at risk.
