Jc here Some more info I didn't recall anyone mentioning. They also mention on target to hit 1000 Patents in 2000 and 50 engineers in Austin. Both fabs capable of 40 million CPU's next year. 50nm testing being done to push the limits to see what breaks. acw.activate.net

Hmm. Well, Athlon = Palomino Yes and no. At the analyst call, they were very specific when they were talking about Athlon/Duron/Palomino/Morgan/Claw/Sledge hammer. Hence, if in some random interview they had mentioned Athlon, I would not have given it a moments notice. Hoewver in the very specific context of talking specifically about these processors, he specifically said "Athlon with 760MP". In my mind, he would have said Palomino with 760MP if that's what was actually being demoed. TG
