This would be a very bad precedent, and I totally disagree.

I am not a partisan Republican and I don't like GW Bush.
I voted for Ralph Nader.

For you to think that any recount will be even close to
accurate is very naive.

Recounts are always fraught with danger of mischief. After
living long enough to be near retirement, and in several
states, I have seen enough of people to know better.

Politics is the dirtiest of businesses, and the recounting
is where the dirt is the worst.

OT:

"if he continues to fight a recount, that he does not believe he will win in a recount."

when you say "recount", please make sure to specify that you mean "HAND recount".

machines have already recounted; why does anyone think a HAND recount will be any more accurate?

Juli:

Jim Baker has already put a nix on hand counting the entire state of Florida... What's now confusing the the halt of the manual count in Palm Beach because of the Republican Secretary of State order, yet they are beginning to hand count in Miami/Dade County... I'm wondering why her order applies to Palm Beach but not to Miami/Dade...
