<<If all counties got started tomorrow, they would all be done within 7-10 days>>

It should take no longer to count all counties than one. Each counties supplies their own counters....Don't seem like a problem to me

Baker's just fullofit.

My point is handcount all or handcount none. Handcounting some is completely partisan depending the counties selected.

My goodness man, you don't want the Democrats to be accused of not wanting the will of all the people do you?

Yo dave, tell me what if the democrates chose to ignore the 5 pm deadline for certifying the vote count in their counties.

The sec.of state could throw out their entire counts. Before the absetee ballots are counted.

The Democrates have a chose to make before 5pm.

They can play the game by the rules or risk knowing that they have lost the absentee vote and continue to try and change the rules.

Which one will they chose?

You're grasping for straws. The Gore camp only asked for 4 counties, and the judge gave them until 5 pm to report.

Hey, wait a second. I thought Al wanted to make sure ALL votes were properly counted (I just loved that naive little boy face he put on yesterday when he suddenly seemed to realize that the tabulation of ten's of millions of votes cast may not be calculated with 100% accuracy). That would mean doing recounts of every ballot submitted throughout the entire country, right? Oh boy, if we follow Al's fantasy idea of how votes should be tabulated (you know, we hand count every ballot and interpret "intentions" of some voters), then we should know who won this election by, maybe, 2004??
