I don't want that every 4 years either, but keep in mind that this is the 1st time it has happened, so I don't think you have to worry.

My concern is that with a popular vote most of our leaders will be chosen by the likes of New York, LA, San Francisco, etc. These areas are where our values are the most trashed (imo) and the U.S. would not have a conservative leader ever. Our country would go further down the toilet, imo.

My whole point is we shouldn't even be caring about states anymore. That's out-dated. Living in
California my vote here may never count in a lifetime. I don't like that. And if you live in Montana your vote doesn't count
either. Same difference. They only count now in very close states such as Florida.
I don't want Florida picking our president every four years, do you?


Honestly, don't you think you're getting a little hysterical here.? It could have easily been New Mexico or Oregon.
