She is a woman acting on pure self interest. Just like everyone else. What you said is ridiculous. She is a partisan and you like her partisanship so you will give money to her because you are on her "side". It's pure self interest all the way around. Don't try to make it noble, because we are all noble if self interest is the criteria.

Well, she won't be running for Secretary of State in Florida.

I understand the position will be eliminated in 2002...

That could explain why she was so willing to ignore political pressures from either side and apply the law...

Which, as you all probably now know, the Florida Supreme Court upheld this morning.
