I disagree. While McCain was a POW in the Hanoi Hilton Dubya was involved in all kinds of chicanery. There are allegations of illegal abortions, cocaine abuse, he admits to alcohol abuse and a DUI, insider trading allegations etc. Dubya's malfeasance spreads, literally, across decades

If he's is so bad why did he essentially tie someone who has been groomed since birth to be President?

Just because McCain endured the most exetreme human indignity does that make him Presidential material?

I agree that McCain is the real thing, but that does not make him the best candidate for the office. Perhaps his greatest contribution is as a great Senator and Lawmaker in pursuit of long term values for our country?

Just wondering.
