Re: "You may be correct that she made the right decision, or you may not be. Ultimately the Florida Supreme Court will decide that."

She had no business accepting hand-counts after deadline from counties hand picked by one candidate. That would put her in great legal risk.

Truth is, to accept hand-counts when the race is close may make sense. Of course, if the standard is a voter must completely follow instructions, Gore gains nothing and hand-counting these odd Chad ballots becomes moot. If a court, even this one, after hearing all the evidence, says it recovers votes fairly if done conservatively(no pregnancies, IMO), then so long as these silly machines are used, it'll be so. But Al Gore will never get his selected counties in alone and have anyone believe that's equitable.

I'm betting it'll never fly in some court. Wanna bet?

Secretary Harris has a ministerial duty to perform. She can't walk away from that. The people of Florida elected her to uphold the law and the rules of her office. She has been extremely careful to comply with that law. Frankly, I believe the count being made in South Florida is unlawful based on the law. If you think about it, Albert Gore has never allowed the law to stand in his way of doing whatever he wants to do. He has little respect for the law, excepting for someone else. He has, flagrantly, violated campaign laws, drug laws, election laws, violated the law of honor and truth, and on and on. Secretary Harris is doing right. Gore is dragging America through the gutter.
