Despite what the Republicans are saying, other places in the country, including Texas, are managing to conduct manual recounts without it degenerating into a circus.

I agree with George; it was in the interest of one side to turn it into a zoo, so they did. Remember that the Republicans were crying 'fraud', 'theft', 'bias', before the recounts even started. Whatever they were objecting to, it wasn't the actual conduct of an actual recount.

I'm sure you are trying to be reasonable and balanced. OTOH, the logical conclusion is that there should be no recounting of election results. I grant that it's a consistent position.
