There is a small problem with your hypothesis.

There are instructions that require the person voting to assume some responsibility that the "machine" has correctly represented their choice. Remove chads, make sure it is on the pins, make sure you punch thru, etc.

Sorry if I don't reply, but I have to leave my computer right now.

<Now, what is Bush trying to do in Florida? >

lawdog -

Bush has moved his attention away from Florida and towards D.C. He wants albert to move his stuff out so Vice President Cheney can go about the work of the people.

BTW, who votes at grocery stores?

albert lost. He needs to move along.

If the checker scans the price twice and nothing registers you can leave the product with the store. What's the point?

lawdic, the votes for this election (Nationwide) have been counted by machines. The result: Gore won the popular vote, Bush won the Electoral.

You lose....get over it!!

Is this a trick question? Is George trying to buy groceries in Florida?

Horrible analogy...the shopper is definitely trying to purchase something...you don't know what the voter's intent was...so you try to "divine" it...LOL
