Gore asked for a recount in three counties that he knew he would pick up votes in. Not the whole state. Not any other states. Three counties in one state. This makes total sense if you want to pick up votes. I don't fault him for trying to pick up extra votes. I have no argument with that, except that he's changed the way everyone looks at national elections.

I have a large argument with CREATING votes, which I witnessed in Broward County. I consider it to be felonious, and I think Al Gore has lost his mind. That's just my opinion. I'm allowed to have an opinion, and that's it.

Your assumption that I am listening to a "propoganda machine" is just plain wrong. I look at facts and I draw my own conclusions.

Propaganda machines, thats like the lie of the big three plus cnn and msnbc saying that there was intimidation of the counters, there were reporters leading that charge!WHY, because the dems wanted to "COUNT" in private without observers, why oh why? It is a slimy deal and you know it.ARE YOU SURE he did not hire operatives and polsters to start the battle once he discovered that the Cuban Americans threw him overboard and there exit polling showed he was a loser in those three counties,so his only action was to throw out the military votes, and challenge everything he could to garner a vote here and there, and to buy a few rolls of scotch tape, what a dupe you are!

When you look at it all, it started with the networks calling Fl for the Democrats. From there, Gore conceded and and then retracted. Wexler comes on the air talking about the multitudes of hysterical people who voted incorrectly. Jackson and others mentioned the black vote problem.
Had Gore been a man, he would have let go a long time ago for the sake of the country. You could argue the same for Bush. We are at a point of no return right now. There is no way everyone will agree the election worked out right after all, and that's a shame.
We have all sorts of litigation and the final result will be suspicion no matter who gets in. So where do we go from here? I have no idea. I voted for Bush. I see a lot of accusations from both sides. If anything, it has convinced the public that both parties are total compromisers, willing to do anything to get their man in. It's not a nice picture. This idea that everyone wants fairness is simply untrue. Both Dems and Pubs will do whatever it takes to win. This is not the American way. At least we're not supposed to believe it is.
