Not so fast, Ted! I've watched it too. The Republicans seem to contend Florida has a perfect voting system. It does not!

There's only one issue to decide: Should Gore get his hand recount in Miami-Dade County? And since it's a contestment matter, should the disputed ballots in Palm Beach County be examined by the court?

Two fair questions, which should be decided in Gore's favor. What you're watching on television are trial tacticians. The Court will ultimately decide the questions above, ultimately the Florida Supreme Court since either side will appeal this decision.

Ted, if you're still watching, Bush's voting machine expert just admitted that close elections should result in a hand recount!

How 'bout that, folks?

Hope you're still watching, Ted! And I'd hope you'd withdraw your assertion Gore should concede.

Interestingly, Bush's voting machine expert became Gore's best witness.

And I thought the judge's questions were insightful.

I may have disagreed with the judge not allowing Gore's team to determine credibility as to Bush's statistician expert, but, in balance, I do like the judge regardless of how he rules. I think he's a fair judge with a difficult decision ahead of him.
