john, we simply don't have a clue about that technology and which one will be a winner. tom may be better at it, but the whole concept of FTTH is still just that, a concept. i don't "see" it happening as we speak. there are no trucks parked down the street installing this stuff. you know? it's the peter lynch thing. the one where you should buy what you know? i don't know FTTH and i don't "see" it being put into place. if we are going to invest wisely in that arena, we are going to need to understand it much better,,,otherwise, we may be diving into another DSL fiasco. the only good thing about the DSL fiasco is that i never put any money into those companies. what a diaster that sector has become.
