Nah. The post election "hand recounts" will still be subjective and standardless and therefore, of little consequence. JLA

You still don't seem to get it. Am starting to wonder whether you ever will. Which of about 12 different standards would be applied to the "undercount"? If you had your wish, the standard that gives Gore the most votes, of course, whether or not applied consistently, or in Miami-Dade, or even in another state. Well, guess what? The only objective standard is the machine count, for which the ballots were designed, manufactured, and voted. And the answer is that they were counted twice, and there were -0- votes.

Ellen, just between you and me, what will/can GW say if/when the disputed votes in FL are one day counted under the Freedom of Info Act, and it turns out he lost both the popular and electoral votes.

I wonder how history will view him and this situation?
