Roebear, I agree with you except that I think in this environment Gore "anti oil" BS will not see the light of day. Corporations are stonger than any administration.

As to my preferences see my post on MDD tread ...... prefer smarts of the president over his views. Not that Gore is so smart but Bush is such an idiot.

My wish was to have McCain as the next President.

Gore has a $500,000 share in Occidental petroleum. His family have been shareholders for two if not three generations. Several members of the Gore family have been on the Board of Occidental Petroleum, perhaps Gore himself. Can't remember on that one. I fail to see how Gore is anti-Oil.
